What Books Took You Forever to Read? | Dracula, The Burning Gods, Emma & More

No matter your reading speed, some books just sit on your "currently reading" shelf for longer than others. From being a bit on the slow side to being a more challenging read, these books aren't necessarily bad (though, sometimes, they are) but they do take extra time, dedication, and perserverance to finish. We're talking about those books this week: the ones who carried around for a bit longer than normal in order to finish.

We start the pod as always by talking about our most recent reads and then move on to our topic. At the end, we talk about what we're currently reading and what the next topic is that you can expect.

In this episode, we discuss:
  • Dracula by Bram Stoker
  • Talk Flirty to Me by Livy Hart
  • The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan
  • The Great Hunt by Robert Jordan
  • Yumi and the Nightmare Painter by Brandon Sanderson
  • Yume by Sifton Tracey Anipare
  • Emma by Jane Austen
  • Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
  • Green Grass, Running Water by Thomas King
  • The Witcher Series by Andrzej Sapkowski
